Dennis Lehane is the author of the classic Kenzie-Gennaro series (A Drink Before the War; Sacred; Gone, Baby, Gone; Darkness Take My Hand; and Moonlight Mile), The Drop, Mystic River, Shutter Island, and The Given Day. Lehane is also credited with writing several episodes of HBO’s acclaimed series The Wire. Currently, Lehane teaches advanced fIction writing at Harvard University.
