Brandon Welchez, frontman of the rock/art-punk/indie pop/post-punk revivalist band Crocodiles, recently provided us with lists of his ten favorite books and ten favorite punk singles from Southern California, which you can find below (in no particular order). Since the release of Summer of Hate in 2009, the band’s first full length album, Welchez and fellow band mate Charles Rowell have helped cement Crocodiles as one of the more prolific and popular indie pop acts of the last decade. In addition to Crocodiles, Welchez has also served as a frequent collaborator with the Dum Dum Girls and fellow musician Dan Treacy’s band Television Personalities.
